In search of a part-time office assistant working for a private American company based in Dakar.
We are looking for a well-organized person with good computer skills. Good writing and Microsoft Excel skills are necessary. The hours are flexible, 10-15 hours per week, with much work that can be done from home via the internet. English speaking, with the ability to communicate in French and handle local errands.
Job responsibilities will include:
Make plane and hotel reservations;
Create expense reports;
Organize online files;
Basic banking and procurement;
Updating of office paperwork: invoices, contracts, etc.; Tracking payment schedules, incoming invoices, and project deadlines; Create excel spreadsheets: for procurements, tracking of projects, with a clear understanding of formulas and basic computations; Writing and editing skills; Attention to detail.
